Yay! It’s another collection of short stories revolving around magical or supernatural themes! I really like fantasy stories like these, espcially when the characters are cute and there is some romance 🙂 This book is made up of 4 individual short stories, though the last 2 are somewhat connected. All of the stories have soem fantasy element. The girl pictured on the cover is from the first of these stories, the one actually titled ‘Mezamereba Mermaid’. It’s about a girl named Nanami, the boy she likes named Takeru, and a strange girl in their class who befirends Nanami and reveals startling news about Nanami’s past and her true heritage. You can guess by the picture below exactly what this revalation about Nanami’s bloodline really is 🙂 But is this really true? Needless to say, all of this gives Nanami a lot to think about, and she also still tryingto deal with her relationship with Takeru. (and it is amazing how much Takeru looks like Yuu from Marmalade Boy. It’s uncanny, really 🙂

The second story in this volume is my favorite. It’s called ‘Watashi no Catboy” (My Catboy) and, you guessed it, it’s about a girl who discovered an amazing secret about a boy in her class :). Gotta love stories with catboys, they are so cute! Especially the way the catboy in this one scares the girl in the story, oh hoho hoho 🙂 Finally, the last 2 stories in this book focus on these tiny, one-horned demon things that are the size of keychains, yet capable of causing so much havoc in the life of one girl and a boy from her class.

Anyway, I think this volume is worth it for the catboy story alone, I love catboy stories! But all the stories are nice, and as usual, the artwork is very cute 🙂 I am a big fan of stories with supernatural things in it. It’s great that so much shoujo manga has magic, etc! Okay, the point is check this manga out!
