I found this tankoubon to be an enchanting collection of short stories, all by the same author, and all with supernatural themes. The first story (this is the one actually titled ‘Gin no Sato’, the rest all have different titles) tells the tale of a young girl named KAWAMURA Orie, and her encounter on a mountan with a strange boy named Gin. Gin means ‘silver’ and indeed, Gin has silver eyes and hair. After Gin rescues Orie from a bear, she quickly learns more about this strange boy and his amazing ability :)This is my favorite story in the volume. I really liked Gin, and Orie was very cute. I really liked how the artist drew her hair for some reason.

The other stories in this volume revolve around supernatural things as well. They include tales about a catboy and a tiny mouse girl on rollerblades ^_^;, a boy, his girlfriend, and a legendary mermaid, and a troubled girl who meets a comforting new friend who is not exactly what he appears to be. As I said before, the art in this volume is excellent. I am not sure if there are any other manga series by this artist or not, but if there are, please let me know! As far as I know, this is a one-shot volume. But all of the stories in it are great! They are both funny and touching at the same time. I highly recommend this book!
