Heheheh I feel kinda silly even summarizing this series on my page, because all you have to do is read my review of Kaikan Phrase or any other Shinjo Mayu series to get an idea what this series is about, but I just couldn’t resist! This series is just so silly and cheezy! I love it in that bad-movie kind of way. It’s campy and sexist and smutty, but it’s a lot of fun. Yep, guilty pleasure time again! I don’t know why Shinjo Mayu keeps using the same character types over and over again in different settings, and why I keep buying her stuff. Then again, maybe I just answered my own question. She has obviously found a formula that works. She is getting my money! ^_^;;;
Like in all Shinjo Mayu series, the hero is a tall, sexy-gorgeous macho guy, with that air of mystery and danger around him. Naturally, he looks just like Sakuya from Kaikan Phrase (and just like most other Shinjo Mayu heroes) and he acts just like Sakuya probably would if he was a gangster instead of a rock star. He does have a really cool dragon tattoo next to one eye though! Anyway, the hero is named Hakuron, and he meets the heroine, Kurumi, one night when she is walking home from work at a convenience store. She is walking along, minding her own business, when she bumps into this really handsome sexy guy. She cries out, but he stops her, and pulls her against a wall. He is apparently trying to hide from people chasing him, so when Kurumi struggles and tries to get away from him, he does the obvious thing to shut her up- he kisses her. Kurumi is pretty dazzled by his kiss and it does seem to shut her up. I am not sure why he felt the need to then tear open her shirt to reveal her bra, but um, okay, whatever. Kurumi notices Hakuron is injured, and seems to decide to forget that this sexy guy is a stranger who grabbed her and kissed her, and takes him home to nurse his wounds. Like a typical Shinjo Mayu hero, he lets Kurumi tend to his wound, and then he moves in to seduce her, but then he hears a noise that makes him think the people chasing him are nearby, so he cuts it short and leaves her.
Kurumi later finds a dragon pendant on the bed where she had been bandaging Hakuron’s wound. Kurumi thinks she has seen the last of her mysterious guy, but of course they meet again very soon. The next day after school, Kurumi is kidnapped while on her way home, and is drugged. She awakens to find herself on a private jet with Hakuron! He wants Kurumi for himself! They arrive in Hong Kong of all places, where Hakuron is greeted by a horde of henchmen and servants who all address him as Hakuron-sama. Hakuron is rich! He is also the leader of a Hong Kong Mafia group! (uh, wouldn’t that be the Triads?) Kurumi is in his clutches, and he won’t let her go home! Oh no! Will true love form from this relationship! No doubt there will be lots of sex and various people trying to break Kurumi and Hakuron apart. He lives a dangerous life, and she is just a schoolgirl! What a couple! Hehehehe. I have to chuckle at this series! It is pretty cheezy.
